Litany Against Fear of Blogging
I must not fear blogging;
Fear is the mind-killer.
I will face my fear.
I will permit my fear to pass over me and through me.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing;
Only the blog will remain.
Fear is the mind-killer.
I will face my fear.
I will permit my fear to pass over me and through me.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing;
Only the blog will remain.
I dream.
You dream.
We all dream,
A blog dream.
You dream.
We all dream,
A blog dream.
I have taken up jogging and blogging,
because jogging is good for the heart
and blogging is good for the mind.
A Briefing for a Descent into Mass Media
because jogging is good for the heart
and blogging is good for the mind.
A Briefing for a Descent into Mass Media
Definition of Mass:
A New Defintion of Media from The Revealer
- a body of matter without definition-the masses
- a measure of an objects resistance to acceleration-the resistance to change
- the property of a body that is a measure of its inertia-the rate of change
- the tendency of a body to resist a change in motion
- an object's inertia increases directly with an increase in the object's mass
- also, increasing inertia loads requires more force to accelerate and decelerate them
- when mass media was first introduced, our population was smaller and almost completely inert
- now, our population numbers in the billions and our world is moving at fiber optic speed
- thus, for media to have an affect, it must increase its force on the masses in direct proportion to the speed at which we are changing...an almost impossible feat.
A New Defintion of Media from The Revealer
Media is an ongoing conversation between scholars, media makers, and ordinary people.
